First date? Here’s How Not to Do It.
Women don’t like freezing on the terraces of a first division football ground with only a pie for warmth and drunken yobs for company. Similarly, I discovered that a deserted steak house is not the perfect venue for a girl particularly a vegetarian! Strangely a visit to the pub to watch me get whipped at darts also proved a loser. Still I did redeem myself by teaching a girl how to play ‘five’s and three’s’ at dominoes before she consigned me to the dustbin of history.
By the way, crown green bowling has also proved to be less of an aphrodisiac than envisaged!
