According to the BBC website, Middle age now starts at 55 years old. This means I have six weeks to celebrate being young before the next stage of my life beckons. Actually, it got me thinking  that age in fact is related to the date on your birth certificate while in reality it’s about your attitude, interests and clothes. I have long brown hair (I am a bloke) and dress fashionably without being showy. Most of my schoolmates have a number #1 haircut and dress at god knows where. They see me and say wow! How do you look so good and manage to get out so much and always have a fit bird (sorry, sexist) on your arm? The answer is that I am no different to them apart from they have given up on themselves and I have not. So is over 50 dating anything to back off from? Go for it folks and have a ball.
